Overall, as a group, we worked really well together and tried our best to put the skills we had together to form this project the way we wanted it to come out as. There were many challenges that stopped us for example, the only Right to Play representative close to Ottawa was in Toronto. This meant we had to communicate everything we needed and looked for online which has many challenges. We overcame this by using Teams and talking with Amanda Downs through email, to get the best response possible. We knew we didn't have much time to raise the money, so we decided the best way would be through a raffle and a GoFundMe as they are really easy things to fundraise with as people trust these processes as well. Going out in the community to sell tickets and give information about Right to Play was the highlight that many of us had through this time. Some lessons that will stay with us are, next time we must start communicating about every item on the checklist right away with a partner in the future. Also, work as a team and try to give everyone individual tasks but tasks that are way easier for a team to do. Set small goals to reach the larger ones in future tasks. Finally, this has been an amazing experience for all of us and we want to thank everyone from our partner (Right to Play) to our Professors and everyone who contributed to our fundraiser!
Thank you!
